Maximum safety through meticulous analyses
In order to be able to utilise incoming waste in a correct and environmentally sound way, its composition is qualitatively and quantitatively analysed by our specialists in the company’s own physico-chemical laboratory, which is designed for petrochemistry and water chemistry analysis.
In the case of waste oils, for example, we analyse flashpoint, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB), halogens and water. This ensures that any contaminations will be detected. Depending on their origin (mineral, synthetic, biological or oils from workshops or industrial areas), the waste is assigned to the various plants to be processed into base or lubricating oils or into products for thermal utilisation. Contaminated and non-processable waste is delivered to external special waste incineration plants for thermal disposal.
State-of-the-art analysis technology
We use state-of-the-art chemical analysis technology such as capillary gas chromatography with flame ionisation and electron capture detection (FID and ECD), X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF) and attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR).
Since March 2022 our laboratory is accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 by DAkkS and since April 2022 notified according to §16 LKrWG and §5 Abs. 2 AltölV by LANUV NRW.
